9/11 Memorial

9/11 Memorial

The 9/11 Memorial, located beside the Michigan Fallen Heroes Memorial on Oakland County’s campus, was unveiled and dedicated on September 11, 2015 — commemorating a date forever etched into the soul of our nation.

Within its three solemn structures are artifacts from the three sites of the terrorist attacks: the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the crash site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Each piece bears silent witness to the day when thousands of innocent lives were lost and the course of history was forever changed.
