“Patrick risked his life (and lost it) hoping to save a distressed man (thought to be suicidal) lying in wait to ambush anyone coming near his barricaded bedroom. Sadly, Patrick left behind a beautiful wife of 14 years and four very young children who will struggle to remember him in later life….not to mention me, his father, three brothers and their families. So many countless lives have been affected by this tragic, senseless loss. We are grateful to Sheriff Bouchard and those who helped him create this beautiful memorial which immortalizes the first responders who are true heroes. Our prayers go to all families of the fallen……their names will forever be etched in stone and in our hearts.”
